MED stands for Marine Equipment Directive or Directive 2014/90/EU on marine equipment which aims to harmonize, among all the Member States of the European Community, the conformity assessment procedures relating to the equipment intended to be placed on board Community vessels.
The Directive repealed the previous 96/98 / EC and was implemented in Italy with Decree Of The President Of The Republic 20 December 2017, n. 239.
The self-contained breathing apparatus models RN FR and RN FR T2 and the EEBD SK and FUGE are MED certified.
